Songs of the Sea
This painting was born from an aerial photograph I took on that helicopter ride. It is like a close up aerial view, which plays with your perception and yet you sense the power and surge of the ocean as it washes back from the rocks and sand.
I love the abstract quality of the image, and the hidden mysterious depths of the lower part of the painting.
